Hey, all you girls who have thick tangle-prone hair: I’m getting ready to blow your mind right here and now. No really — it’s that good.
A few weeks ago, I was perusing Hairdresser on Fire (one of my favorite hair blogs) and landed on her post on the best brush for detangling. As a hairdresser, Reagan noticed the Wet Brush sitting around her salon at the shampoo bowls and she was impressed at how easily it detangled wet hair. I don’t think I even took a breath after I read that post — I just went straight away and bought the dang brush. No hesitation. I figured that a brush that only cost $9 was probably worth the financial risk. I mean, it’s no Mason Pearson for upwards of $100, you know?
A few days later, my brush arrived and I took it out for a spin. Typically I’ve used a wide-tooth comb and a TON of leave-in conditioner to get the job done. With my natural waves and abundance of hair, detangling is a pretty serious job. So imagine my surprise when the Wet Brush totally lived up to the hype. I haven’t even used a single drop of spray-in conditioner. I don’t know what kind of magic it is that makes it work, but it definitely does.
So there you have it, curly/tangled/thick-haired girls. You’re welcome.
This is totally not a sponsored post, btw. I just REALLY love this product!
