I know how much you guys love real estalking with me (here too), and I shot the CUUUUUTEST cottage this past weekend in Carlton Landing. It’s for sale and I tell you, somebody needs to snap this baby up fast because it’s one of the best locations in the town. Located on the super charming Cottage Court that faces Firefly Park, it was one of the first houses I shot when we first visited Carlton Landing. (That aqua door has been one of my most-pinned images ever, btw.) If you love a boho/vintage style a la Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters, then this is going to be right up your alley — and I’ve included a few ways to help you get the look too.
Inside it’s a delightful eclectic vibe with colorful, happy furniture and a definite vintage flavor. I love how all of the woodwork has been softly pickled. It’s just different enough from your traditional white shiplap to keep things interesting.
I’m obsessed with the chambray sofa and the amazing woven chairs. YES.

It’s not an large house, but it has so many smart features and every last possible square inch of space is maximized for storage. In the kitchen, floating shelves hover on either side of the range, and those mint enamel lights are the perfect contrast to all the gleaming stainless steel.

But the real workhorse here is the side entryway that doubles as a pantry and laundry room. Open shelving easily accommodates pantry items as well as a row of hooks for bags, wet swimsuits, etc.
In the master bedroom, hanging lights are suspended on either side of the queen size bed; it keeps a small room from having too much space taken up visually by bulky lamps or side tables. It’s pure function, but with a definite boho vibe.

Opposite the bed is the entrance to the master bath, which has been surrounded by built-in storage in lieu of a traditional closet. It’s another smart space saver that keeps clutter up off the floor while not giving up valuable square footage to closet space. (This is exactly what I want to do in our master bedroom addition, btw.)
Inside, it’s a sunny space with an enormous bathtub just begging to be soaked in.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms, another full bath, and this darling little inset bunk bed, each with its own shelf and nightlight. And underneath are built-in drawers for overflow linens.
A happy sunny bedroom that feels very Anne of Green Gables, no? And I love how the colors in the rug are vibrant but not totally overwhelming to the room.

Outside, you can chat with your neighbors over drinks at the shared built-in bar that divides the two properties.
I love love love how much character and charm this little house has. It’s such a great way to prove that small spaces can have loads of style, and with a few smart choices you can maximize the storage to make it work for your family.
Thanks for coming along on the tour!
