Today, a fun little blanket guide. My family has somewhat of an obsession with blankets. It’s almost like the home accessory version of comfort food or our gifting love language. Both my babies love to be wrapped up and cuddled in a blanket, and you’ll find me wrapped up in one on the couch even in the high heat of summer. Right now, Jude has no less than six (yes!) blankets on his bed and he confided to me not long ago that he “just wants all the soft things.” I know, baby. Me too!
In times of difficulty, like Jude’s premature birth or when I’ve miscarried, my mom has bought me a blanket. She showed up at the hospital with gigantic Nap blankets for both Simon and I, and then when Archer was born, we brought the same one up to the hospital and it was so comforting to have something familiar. So I thought I’d share a few of our favorites – and when in doubt, gift a blanket. It’ll always be welcome!
