I’m personally loving that peach is a big color trend now. It’s kind of a natural progression from the other pink-hued color trends of the past few years: coral, grapefruit, blush and millennial pink. But poor peach has been much-maligned since we last saw it in the 80s. But it’s so beautiful and I think it’s time to give it another turn. And no, you don’t have to pair it with turquoise (although I wouldn’t be mad about it!).
Anytime I see the color peach, I immediately think of my much-beloved 4th grade teacher, Miss Hanson. With a personality larger than life, nobody loved kids more than her. But she was just as well-known in the school because she had a major obsession with the color peach. And when I say major, I mean that she committed 110% to her love of that happy color. Her VW bug was peach. Her classroom was peach. Her house was peach, inside and out. All of us had peach notebooks because OF COURSE we would all have peach notebooks in her class. She passed away several years ago, but I think of her often and how she loved us all so well. She would have been all over this particular color reboot; but of course she was the original peach trend-setter.
