It’s the first weekend in ages that we don’t have basketball or something we have to scurry off to. Here’s to a relaxing weekend. And I’m 99% sure the baby is going to start walking any day now. He took a couple of faltering steps Thursday night. So exciting and such a milestone.
Yesterday I spent all afternoon hanging out with my dad. We had lunch at La Baguette (french onion soup – heaven), wandered around to do a few errands, and sat in carpool to pick Jude up. On the way back to get Dad’s car, we stopped at 7-11 to get gas, and I watched Jude and Dad walk hand in hand inside to get snacks (because Jude was, in his word, “STARVING”). They came back with basketball magazines and a big bag of Jolly Ranchers. Haaaaa So fantastic.

On Being is a new favorite podcast – Brene Brown’s is one I’m still chewing on, and Martin Sheen‘s was fascinating too. Pro tip: check out the extended unedited versions.
TWO
One of our favorite places in Los Angeles is the Venice canals. I love this photo tour.

These lavender Milo Baughman chairs are sheer perfection. I mean you can you even?!

Making it Lovely was one of the first blogs I ever read, and Nicole recently gave the site a makeover – looove!

Bought this dress on mega sale at Boden for a whopping $35 (originally $118!). Perfect for spring – just layer it with a cardigan to toss over chilly shoulders or with a buttondown underneath.
Happy weekend, friend. See you next week.
