Working with fellow small business creatives who are passionate about their branding is really starting to light my fire. Branding is such an integral part of any business, and it is so much more than just a logo. I’m on the lookout for other business owners  and creatives who want to tell a story with their branding, for  people who want to get real about their identity and are on a mission to change the world with their particular service.

So when Rachelle came to me about getting some visual help with branding her event styling business, I knew almost immediately that we would be a good fit. Grace & Holt are her two kids’ respective middle names, and I love the idea of having tailored events. It’s just so her.  Plus, her tagline is so fantastic – Every child deserves a party. Isn’t that great? (You might remember previous parties that she and I have worked on together, like the Thomas the Train party that I collaborated on several years ago —  I *still* get emails about those invitations!)  Rachelle gets that the details make all the difference when it comes to crafting memorable parties.  So I wanted to give her a really memorable identity to set the tone for her business.  I wanted her identity to be so irresistible that you couldn’t help but pick up her business card if you saw it sitting out.

For Rachelle’s brand, we reviewed all the things that she was about – her values (family, fun, celebrating loved ones), her talents (eye for detail), her favorite things. Because first and foremost, I believe that when building your brand, it’s all about who you are.  (You can see our collective mood board at Pinterest for more insider looks at building her brand!).  And from there, we reviewed a few different versions of her logo and brand board before settling on what you see here! And I absolutely completely adore how it turned out. But moreso, so does Rachelle!
