It feels funny to say that I’ve been doing Weight Watchers for 41 weeks – longer than a pregnancy! But here we are at the end of October. We’ve had Simon’s birthday and plenty of celebrating (including that amazing red velvet cake our friend Anne got for him). And yes, I totally ate that cake. And I might have licked up the crumbs too. 😉
GAIN/LOSS: LOST 1.2 POUNDS
TOTAL LOSS: 31.6 POUNDS
WHAT WORKED
- Drinking tons of water
- Tracking everything
- Getting my period (TMI alert). I usually retain a lot of water right before my monthly cycle and it makes it super difficult to drop any weight. But afterwards, I usually lose pretty easily.
- I made the baked potato soup recipe from the SkinnyTaste cookbook for dinner one night this week and it was a total hit
WHAT DIDN’T
- Having to miss my meeting last week
- Running out of my thyroid med Rx. I’m trying really hard to stay on track and consistently take my meds!
WHAT TO TRY
Archer put my iPhone in the microwave and turned it on, which means I’m now without a phone. I’m hoping not to derail from tracking, and I’m grateful for the online version of WW I can access on my laptop. UGH – this is why we can’t have nice things, Archer!
