Gallery Walls with Snapbox + A Giveaway
I’m all about a gallery wall, especially when you’ve got an enormous blank wall to fill. The fun folks at Snapbox Prints (fun Instagram account, btw) reached out and wanted to send me any product of my choosing. So I used my credit to get a giant framed print of this photo blown up. The price point was so ridiculously inexpensive that I had pretty low expectations on quality, not only of the print, but for the frame. Fast forward a week and the framed photo arrived and I have to say, I was totally surprised. My mom and I couldn’t stop staring at it and I hung it up in the kitchen immediately. The shot was gorgeous, and the frame was a great quality. I don’t know how they do it and make any money, frankly, but whatever they’re doing is working!
I emailed them straightaway and said “Let’s do a project.” At the lake house, the kids’ bedroom was feeling like one big empty blank box. The ceilings are super high, and I’d been waiting to find just the right piece to fill the space. But my wheels started spinning, and I designed some large-scale posters to have blown up and framed: a big monogram A for Archer, a J for Jude, and some graphic, bold fruit prints (inspired by this shot) to round it out for fun. The end result makes me grin like crazy every time I walk in the door. It’s the perfect finisher for the room. Happy, quirky, bold, colorful, and unlike anything else you’ll find. It’s totally personal and one-of-a-kind.
Additionally I also had these three photos I’d shot of my favorite places in Carlton Landing printed and framed. I’d originally intended for them to hang together, but they worked so beautifully in different corners of the house.
The delightful folks at Snapbox want to give one of my readers a $100 gift certificate to make anything your little heart desires! That means you could make a killer gallery wall (framed, you guys!) of your very own or choose from any of the personalized photo product options. Oh – or if you’re wanting a monogrammed print like mine, I could make that happen too (heads up: I’m hoping to offer these in the shop soon, too!)
