Giveaway: Cooper House’s Digital Creative Workshop
One of the biggest problems I bump into when I brand a business is how to maintain that brand visually through advertising, social media, etc. Most small businesses are DIY kind of people – they want to be able to design their own ads or do cool blog posts without having to hire out their graphic designer every single time. So what is a DIY entrepreneur to do? Click through for a really fantastic giveaway —
My friends at Cooper House – who so fabulously designed my website and are currently in the process of updating it(!) – are the ultimate dynamic design duo. Their passion is in helping fellow small businesses look amazing. And now they’re helping small businesses make that leap into DIY marketing and design a little easier with their Digital Creative Workshop. An intensive two-day long intensive workshop, it’s targeted towards small businesses that want to increase their marketing know-how by gaining the skills to present themselves beautifully, creatively, and professionally.
Limited to a total of 12 students, the next workshop will be held in Seattle (April 25-26) followed by another event in Oklahoma City on May 30-31. The entire schedule of what to expect during your two day intensive is posted on their website and it’s a pretty stellar lineup of art and color theory, social media strategy, and basic software know-how. Plus each student will also receive one of Cooper House’s custom textbooks. And guess what? They want to give away a highly coveted seat to the Oklahoma City workshop to one of you lovely readers, a $500 value. Yippee!
All you need to bring is your own laptop and a mouse. You’ll also need the Adobe suite of products including Illustrator and Photoshop, which is available for free via their 30-day trial download. Lunch and snacks provided both days. Got more questions? Check out their FAQ for the answers.
