Wow – that was a fast week. I still have so many things to get done before Sunday’s Oscar party! I’ve been glittering up a storm – check out my little Oscar man statuettes!
It really is going to be a fabulous weekend. Mr Shingleton & I received a last-minute invitation to attend the Heart Ball and I can’t wait to see Simon in a tux. I think the last time i saw him that dressed up was at our wedding. Plus! I got to order a couple of gowns from Rent the Runway. It was only an extra $25 to order one more dress, so I got a gold glittery one for the Oscar party, and a navy Halston gown for the Heart Ball. They should arrive today and I can’t wait to try them on. It seems like the perfect concept for formal occasions where you really don’t wear a dress more than once anyway.
