A fast week

Family

This week has gone by so much faster than last. Here it is Wednesday, in the blink of my eye. Last week was so ………. dreadfully slow. Guess that’s what being back in BSF and all our regular activities does for us. Speeds up time.

Recent reads that I’m returning to the library – Romancing Miss Bronte (an impulse pick, but deliciously good and hard to put down) and Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, a recommendation to me from my sis-in-law, and I loved it. If you liked The Help, you might also like this one.

Been spending a lot of time out here while the weather is so perfect. I love the crisp evenings, too. It already feels so different from summer, almost a distant memory.

How to Fly packets for the party this weekend

A lifesize Big Ben

And three teepees of the Indian Camp. Jude LOVES the teepees. I do too. I’m so glad I was able to use all those big cardboard boxes to such fun effect!

A heinous Art Nouveau-inspired painting in the garage from art school days.

Party supplies awaiting their grand debut

A pirate flag. For the pirate ship, of course.

And a dry run in his costume.

with love,
Rachel
