It was a birthday weekend!

Such a great birthday, you guys. A special dinner w/ Mom and Dad and Simon at Signature Grill.

My MOST FAVORITE – creme brulee!

And a special cake that Simon made all by himself. A 4-layer confection of deliciousness!

This is my boys, licking the frosting out of the pan. (Me too).

This picture makes me laugh. It kinda looks like J is popping out of that cake.

IT’S A STRIPED CAKE!!!

So we decided to take it outside. Which turned out to be a good idea in the end.

Ohhh it was good.

But then …

It went downhill fast.

REAL fast.

But in all my 29 years, I don’t think I have ever had a food fight. But it was way fun! I’m thinking that we need to try that one again sometime. 🙂
