But the final result was worth it! My Madeline Weinrib rug is finally in place in the entryway. If you’ll remember, I had placed an initial order for the lighter blue, but when it came in, it was really striated and the color was just …. well, country looking. It wasn’t the visual pop of color that I had envisioned.

So this just proves that I need to stick with my gut instinct. I second-guessed myself on the color, and if I had gone with my gut, I would’ve saved time and shipping. ::sigh:: Oh well. We’re really pleased with the final result. It looks lovely!
