I stumbled upon the work of illustrator/designer Stuart McLachlan today via the Jacky Winter Group, a representative group for Australian illustrators. There’s not much information on him, but really, his work speaks for itself. I am ceaselessly inspired by vintage travel advertisements, and this is some of the best current work that I’ve seen. There’s a dreamy romanticism to his work, punctuated by beautiful typography. His work has a certain ambiance – perfect for his subject matter.
