I’m in inspiration gathering mode these days for a couple of clients, and one in particular is pushing me in delightfully creative ways to expand my boundaries. Which is the fun part, right? I mean, that’s the goal of a great client/designer relationship — we’re both pushing each other out of our comfort zones to try new things. Anyway, I’m soaking up loads of inspiration these days. Come join me!
BRIGHT & HAPPY
Love the mix of modern and earthy in this scene by Sarah Sherman Samuel. And I need more yellow in my life NOW.
DARK & MOODY
I’m having a moment over cerused woods, in particular the black variety. Check out this table by Aronson Woodworks — gahh!
And this deep green feels so fresh right now.
NEUTRAL LOVE
Obsessed with this breakfast nook by Pencil & Paper Co. Neutral done interesting & individually.
7 DAYS
Have you watched this show on Netflix yet? It follows certain events in the week leading up to them, the first being the Westminster Dog Show. But my favorite episode was the one leading up to the Chanel runway show where they installed the beach inside Paris’ Grand Palais. What I love about this is the peek behind the curtain. Sure, it’s about the glam of the runway BUT it’s more about the craftspeople who are regular folks, creating the fantastical. Add it to your queue!
