If there’s one repeating theme in both my work and my favorite inspiration images, it’s a happy, bold stripe. And so today, I’ve rounded up as many stripe images from Pencil Shavings’ archives, as well as some new favorites from other sites. Stripes are cheerful, bold, graphic, iconic, cheeky — they can be serious and formal or casual and young. I love them on shirts, rugs, as a pop of interest in an otherwise simple space, and of course on cabanas.
