Decor trends (as well as design in general) are always a response or reaction to something. Why do we see skinny jeans become popular for years only for wide-leg flares to return? It’s a response to what has become the norm. So when crisp white interiors became all the rage a few years ago, it was only a matter of time before the trend pendulum swung completely to the other side. I’m seeing dark interiors trending EVERYWHERE – and I’m loving how new and rich it feels, especially as we turn towards fall.
