Spring! Spring! Spriiiiiiiiiiing!!! Can you feel it? We spent the weekend in Carlton Landing for Easter and it was absolutely glorious. It’s funny, it’s almost been 2 years since we bought our house here and so much has changed. Not only in our own little family but in the community overall.
With Archer walking now, it was a whole new world for him, toddling up and down the boardwalk. Saturday morning, we ventured out to the General Store for coffee, and then participated in the parade around the neighborhood. Then, a quick nap and some real estalking before the Easter egg hunt. The rest of the weekend was a blur of porch sitting (yes, it’s a thing) with friends, and loads of lounging.
Fishing, complete with Snickers and a Mr. Pibb. Of course.
And what’s Easter without an Easter bunny sighting? Complete with a ride on the firetruck, of course.
A whole bunch of cascarones for continued Easter fun (confetti!).
Look how pretty this little garden is – the tulips were definitely showing off.
True love at the chicken coop. Haha
In fact, he loved it so much he hauled on up into the raised beds to hang out for awhile. THIS CHILD I CANNOT EVEN.
He got an extra-long bath that night.
