I’ve been in the market for a bench to create a banquette-like seating arrangement in our breakfast nook for awhile now, and we finally pulled the trigger on this lovely Riviera Bench from Serena & Lily in navy (FYI – the red color is on sale and it’s a STEAL).  It arrived last week and I am thrilled to pieces.

I’d seen the matching Riviera chairs in a friend’s house in Carlton Landing and loved the quality and material of it. Pretty and easy to clean means you’re a winner in my book.  I love our red Tolix chairs but they’re not the comfiest for longer settings than a quick bite. Plus I wanted some more seating for when family comes over (isn’t that the beauty of a round table? You can fit so many more people around it) and this helped us accomplish that.

Kidproof, and almost Chihuahua proof. 😉 Check check.
