Fashion Friday: Night Out @ the Phil
This year Simon & I decided to culture up and get season tickets to the OKC Philharmonic. I was thrilled to pieces when he approached me about this. I have good memories of going to concerts and plays as a kid and teenager, mostly due to my Dad always encouraging a love of music. Last night was our second concert to go to and it was Ben Folds performing with the OKC Philharmonic. Guys. If you ever get a chance to hear him in concert, you MUST DO IT.
But you know what else thrills my little heart? Having a reason to get all dolled up and go out on the town. Especially now as a mom, you know?
Last night was the coldest it’s been here in OKC all season, so I wasn’t *super* dressy, but I gotta admit, my new coat is such a showstopper that it didn’t really matter.
Doublecloth townhouse trench in golden mustard by J.Crew (courtesy of my mom).
Underneath the fabulous golden trench was a drapey chiffon henley tunic by BCBG (from 2 years ago – similar one here) paired with J.Crew’s pixie pant and a pair of Kate Spade Karolina pumps (similar to these; mine are 2 or 3 years old).
(Side note: where do all these fashion bloggers find the husband/boyfriend photographers to shoot endless amazing photos of them? All I’ve got is an iPhone and a mirror in a dark hallway.)
Of course I can’t go anywhere without accessorizing! Thank you to Sara Michael for my gorrrrrrgeous Bamboleo!
