I'VE NEVER MET A COLOR I DIDN'T LOVE

I’m so glad you’ve stopped by my colorful corner of the Internet.  I’m an Oklahoma City interior designer, creating colorful, stylish homes for clients who want individualistic interiors that stand the test of time. My family and I split our time between Oklahoma City and our lake house in Carlton Landing.

I collaborate with residential and commercial clients to bring their vision to life with a proven track record of editorial-worthy interiors that are just as functional as they are pretty. Additionally in my capacity as a blogger, I write about color, style, travel, and our life together as a family.

With a background in graphic design, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 with a BFA in visual communications and an emphasis in Art History.

Additionally I supplemented my studies each summer of college in France with Parsons Paris, the American Academy of Paris, and la Sorbonne. There I studied fine arts, the French language, and fashion design, which came in super handy in my first job out of college for a fashion company.

Over the past decade I’ve had the opportunity to work in a broad variety of creative mediums. From 2011 to 2016, the Pencil Shavings Studio shop sold a variety of personalized accessories, paper goods, home decor, and more — all designed and manufactured by me. Additionally, Nordstrom and The Limited both carried limited edition Pencil Shavings Studio products in-store.
