Hammam Towels

One of my newest obsessions is the hammam towel. Hammams are Turkish steam baths and are popular in Europe.  Featured earlier this spring in West Elm, I was immediately attracted to the lightweight texture and chic stripe patterns.

Then when we were in Paris, we stumbled upon some others at the Conran Shop and it was all I could do to keep from grabbing a handful and stuffing them in my suitcase.

But I was recently introduced to the gorgeous hamman towels of Etsy seller hamamhouse. The colors are soft and soothing and come in a wider variety of shades than I’ve seen before.
