Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your weekend was restful.  Mine was full of work, rest, and fun with my family.

I wanted to show a little sneak peek of some invitations I was working on this weekend. A friend contacted me about doing birthday brunch invitations for her daughter who is turning one in a few weeks.  She loves the color scheme of the Amy Butler fabric that she chose for her cutie pie’s nursery, and so do I.  While we are going in an entire different direction paper-wise, I did want to show some of the samples I sent over that are inspired by the fabric. Now I want to run out and get some of this fabric – I really love it!

I don’t know that it would have occurred to me to pair the grey with pale pink and chartreuse, but I really love the way they meld together.

Isn’t it amazing how a design can change with a simple color switch?

You’ll have to come back to see the final one that we ended up going with – we’re still working on the final product but I think they’re going to be really pretty. The perfect invitation for a birthday brunch!
