It was our third Disney cruise, and the first trip for Archer.

We booked right after A was born since he had to be six months in order to travel on the ship. And in true Disney cruise fashion (see our previous trips on the Magic and the Fantasy), it was absolutely the easiest and best vacation with kids that was also enjoyable for us grown-ups too. We chose this particular itinerary because it was a “double dip” cruise, meaning it hit their private island Castaway Cay twice in one sailing, as well as a day in Nassau, and another day at sea.

Our friends Kim & Michael came along with their little boy Benjamin and he and Archer logged some time in the It’s a A Small World Nursery while big brother Jude hung out in the Oceaneer’s Lab so we could all have dinner together at Palo and then at Remy.

And as for traveling with baby? It really couldn’t have been easier. We got plenty of one-on-one time with Jude but we also got some excellent alone time together.

Itinerary: Port Canaveral –> Castaway Cay –> Nassau –> Castaway Cay –> Day at Sea —> Port Canaveral.
