Guys, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be attending Amber Housley: Inspired as a speaker this August. I met Amber at the Stationery Academy last summer, and got to know her better at Alt Summit last year — she is a serious go-getter and one of my favorite people. She’s super passionate about connecting with other women entrepreneurs and giving them the tools to succeed.  When she asked me to be a part of it, I was so thrilled — I really love what she’s doing through these events.

The past two years for me can be marked by two things: growing my business and building quality relationships.  The majority of the growth that’s happened with both of those things has started at events like Alt Summit and the Stationery Academy.  Not to get all sweat-lodge-sentimental, but I think that the relationships in particular can be best described as “finding my tribe.” I was chatting with a girlfriend the other day who was trying to decide if it was worth it to spend money on going to a conference in her field. I told her to do it – don’t even think twice about it. Just Do It. Spending money on conferences like these have been the best money I’ve EVER spent when it comes to my career. It lights your fire and inspires you to keep on going.

Speakers this year at AH Inspired include Amber (obvs), Whitney English, Jess Lively, Jessica Turner, Michelle Loretta, Amy Flurry, Cathy Olson, Jessica Bishop, and Heather Crabtree.  I know a handful of these girls, and can’t wait to meet the rest of them — big things happen at these events. Oh — and my speaking topics will include Running Your Online Shop and Blogging for Your Business.

Registration is $729 for the earlybird rate, and there is a scholarship opportunity available.  Registration is limited to 40, which I love – it really helps you to bond and get to know the other attendees.
